Beasts of the Briar by Elizabeth Helen
I have to say that I didn’t expect to love these books, like at all… The themes and plot were not something that I usually read, but I was on a huge reading slump and I didn’t want to read what I usaully do. Let me tell you, this was PER-FECT! I can’t even begin to describe how good the first book was. I ate the book, read it so fast and enjoyed so much, I could only do one sensible thing: buy the next one.

I’m not going to be doing a review per se, just because I will get the first three books confused… I read them so quickly one after the other, I can’t really separate either. Instead, I will tell you how much I love them so that you can read them as well!
I was lucky enough to get the physical copies on a giveaway, which made me the happiest girl in the world! I had intended to buy these books since I first read the first one, and couldn’t really fit them within my budget. So, being the lucky girl I am, I got the first three books in the series.
So, themes explored in these books: reverse harem, mates, abusive relationship, amongst others. But I can tell you that if you like angsty romance and sort of slow burn (spoiler! with particular wolvie mates) this series is for you!
Cons: you’ll want more
Pros: September is around the corner and we’ll be getting the 4th book!
4th BOOK REVIEW

Where do I begin? Firstly, thank you Magpie and NetGalley for giving me the chance to read this e-ARC.
Then, this book was everything I needed and more. Spoiler, I didn’t get enough of this because Elizabeth Helen decided that there was going to be more to the story than this book. THANK GOD, but also, DAMN IT. I need more from these characters and their stories, and their romance.
This book had me glued to my phone (reading the ARC on it), more than TikTok could ever do. All their stories and POVs are intoxicating. I’m not usually someone who enjoys multiple POVs but for these books I will make an exception.
I need more of Caspian, I’m sorry but he’s everything! Especially after the last scenes in the book, what was that about!
Please, to anyone attending the events in the UK, let the authors know how much I love these characters and how they can keep writing as many books as they want!
