DNF! I was really excited about this book. I’ve always been a great fan of King Arthur and grew up with tv shows like Merlin. So coming across a feminist retelling of the legends was a dream. However, I haven’t found it transgressive or feminist. On another note, the story was okay but for me it lacked magic and more action. I did appreciate how informative and true to the legend it was but I wish it had been told differently.
